Prom II

Me and my friends have always talked about doing a second prom and how much fun it would be to dress up and go to dinner in fancy dresses with cute boys. Well Saturday me and Liz got to do just that. Nathaniel randomly asked me to this dance at the U of U. I had the hardest time finding a dress but I finally found a red sparkly one that I love. Only problem is it didn't have sleeves. Why dont they make dresses with sleeves ? It makes more sense to just add the sleeves doesnt it? I rushed home from work Saturday and touched up my hair and make up. Liz was late coming to my house and she had my dress since she was adding sleeves for me. She calls about 15 min before the boys were going to be at my house and informs me she was only able to do one sleeve. I didnt know whether I should laugh or cry. I told her just to bring the dress how it is. The boys get to my house early Liz is late and Im standing above the stairs in no dress talking to the guys. It was awful. Liz shows up the sleeve she made rips right when I put on the dress. I rock the one sleeve dress anyway. Luckily the other side of the dress had a mini sleeve with some roses on it that made it ok. It was fun being all dressed up and seeing how nice the guys looked. Nathaniel looked so cute. I felt lucky to be able to go with such a fun cute guy. We went to a restaurant where they cook the food right in front of you which was entertaining. We got to the dance with only an hour left and we danced the whole time. The other girls in the group sat on the balcony for most of the time. Lame. We went and hungout in his friends freezing cold barn and sat around talking till late. It reminded me of how things used to be with my friends. Despite the little mis haps in the begginning the night ended up being so fun.
